best optic for a savage 10tr 308

I am looking for an optic with a 30mm tube, 24x magnification and 56 mm. Obviously I want turrets and looking to spend around 1500$ This is gonna be the last optic that's gonna go on the gun.
 
If you have access to long distance range Id talk with guys there and look at their scopes, you will really get a good idea whats out there. What works for one guys might not the other.. I read all kinds of good stuff on a Burris XTR II, almost bought one online but found one in the gun shop..I actually didn't care for it and bought a scope Id never think to buy ...a Bushnell DMR, and I love it. Hands on with an optic really helps..especially when buying something with a hefty price tag.

My Savage 10 FP LE2B (original 26" barreled McMillan-stocked version of the 10FP) currently wears a 5.5-22x56mm Nightforce. Usually it wears a 3.5-15x50mm Nightforce.

Buy once, cry once.

dont be scared, if you buy a good quality scope you won't lose a lot of money if you decide to sell, Nightforce and sightron really hold their value. if you buy used, you will lose even less if you decide you do not like it.
