The last time I looked through one, the reticle was crowded at the top of the hood. They wedged the standard 65MOA reticle into a small window.
The Doc Optic or equivalent look like a great option - light, low sight axis, good with recoil. Burris Fastfire is one good option, then JPoint / Optima 2000, and several other decent brands are now available.
