I'd like to be ready for next spring with a new match grade AR15 barrel installed into a complete flattop upper.

I've googled the heck out this but still only have a couple business names.

Not against buying a factory made barrel, but again I'm not seeing a ton of options in Canada.

Wondering if anyone can make recommendations?

Thanks.

Pretty much most of the AR suppliers at CGN have some sort of match barrels: True north arms, CTCS, Mystic precision,Maple Ridge Armoury......there is no need to go to weird places to buy weird stuff. Any stainless steel 416 match grade AR barrels will shoot about the same.

If you really want to drop some money on an import, get a Wilson Combat barrel. I'm also biased, have never shot an AR, and am only basing this off of the love I've seen on American forums for their barrels..

I bought a rainier arms 18" ultramatch stainless barrel a few years ago from CTCS, and while I'm no precision shooter I have managed to squeak a .58" group at 100 meters on the off day I do my part with 77gr handloads.

I had a custom barrel spun up by ATRS for my AR (20 inch, 1:8, 223 wylde, rifle length gas system with as heavy a profile I could get a gas block for and fit under my handguard), the world is your oyster if you want custom.

Most AR stainless match barrels will shoot the same.

Thanks for the referals... I can offer Shilen, Krieger, McGowen and IBI match barrels for the AR15 and AR10 platform.

These barrels have proven themselves in competition at the National level... and have been used to set National Records. Match barrels are most certainly not all the same.

All sorts of chambers, specs possible... please PM or email to discuss.

Thanks

Jerry
