Best overall O/U?

I bought an older Fabarm (10 to 15 years) 2 3/4", billed as a trap gun. I have used it for everthing but slugs. Perhaps it has just grown on me, but if I was considering a new gun, I would look at Fabarm. The price was very reasonable back when I purchased it.
Anyone know the prices on the new Fabram's and or dealers in Ont.?

If your primary interest is waterfowl then I think the best all-round o/u would be a 28" Beretta 686 Onyx with either 3" or 3-1/2" chambers. It will weigh around 7-1/2 lbs. which might be heavy for an upland gun but fine for ducks and geese.

I concur, however I would stay away from the 3.5's. They will kick you silly in an over/under.

Citori's

OOoooohhhh MY GOD they are Sweeeet ! Was out and about this weekend, stopped by Chicotin Guns (Williams Lake) to see Al. He has a nice Citori 525 Sporting there. Only $1,700.00 Very nice fit and feel (for me any way). Next stop was Exeter Sporting Goods in 100 Mile House to see Jude Dion. He had a Citori there and damn I can't remember the model. It was a "light" sporting version ... gorgeous wood on it. $3,400.00 Jude said that model was discontinued ... or otherwise no longer available. He brought it in for himslef and then decided he couldn't justify a gun of that value for occasional trap shooting ... He did offer me a deal and was willing to drop the price by about $300.00 ... still to much money for me right now. I could likely do the finances on the $1,700.00 Sporting one at Chilcotin ... but then I would always be wondering about the more expensive one .... I doubt I would ever buy another Citori ... one is enough for me, so I think I'll hang on until I can afford the more expensive one ..... or not ....???

I've got a Cynergy Sporting that would make a nice all round gun. I almost never shoot it since there is no sporting clays range around here and I have more specialized guns for the other uses. I used it goose hunting one day and it worked great. It weighs about 7 pounds so its not to heavy to carry all day. The only drawback it has as an all round gun is the barrel porting, and that's not as big a deal as I thought it would be.
