Best place buy Leica products

I have been looking around tonight for a particular set of Leica binoculars and have found a wide variety of prices across North America on the same pair. I had almost bought a set from Cabelas but then when I went to checkout, the duty put the price right up there with the prices I found in Canada. If it comes down to a few dollars between the States and Canada, I would rather keep my money on the north side of the border.

Camera Land Inc. does not have the model I am looking for so I don't think dealing with them is an option.

Any ideas on where to get a good price on Leica products would be great.

Thanks, they don't have what I am looking for listed either. But at a quick glance at a few Leica binoculars they have listed shows there prices to be Around $200 more than WSS.

Man, it is amazing how much these things vary in price from website to website :eek:
 
If you are looking for high end optics, I'd always call and check a price with a person rather than the posted price on the internet. Especially with the highly fluctuating currency values we've seen lately.

High internet prices may not really reflect the current selling price, but may be a factor of daily rate changes. If I was a retailer, I'd get pretty freakin' tired of changing my website prices every 2-3 days. On the other hand, if the exchange rate goes the other way they are exposed to a lot of risk on posted prices with narrow margins.

Several vendors have given me better prices lately then their advertized price because of changing costs.
