best place for shotgun sabot?

The only site I'm aware of is Castboolits and they have a forum for shotgun/slugs. However I'd still recommend that you get a Lyman shotgun loading manual. They are not that expensive and have lots of info. One problem with some info from forums is you really don't know what/who your dealing with. Lymans manual is really good and you'll review it over and over. Lots of good info. Best of luck.

I will get a book, I like my fingers and guns too much to follow (mis) quoted Internet info. I'm just looking for supplies
 
There's no best place for anything. However, Cabela's carries .44 calibre sabots for muzzle loaders. 50 runs $10.99. Not made for shotguns though.
Shotgun sabotted slugs tend to be a lot heavier than 240 grains and are not pistol bullets. Likely be ok using a 1/2 ounce load though. Buy the manual. I'm guessing.
