I'm moving from one end of the country to the other and I'm going to make the most of it by picking up powder, primers and bullets so I can save on the massive shipping costs usually associated with these commodities. Because sales taxes are cheaper in Alberta, I'm wondering where all you Albertans get your stuff from. Wholesale Sports, Cabelas, or somewhere local?

Thanks for the help!
Kevin

What's the fee for dropping me off a few 8lb'ers and a few thousand 55gr .223 fmj projectiles here in NB? :p

Thanks for the bullet barn and Rusty Wood recommendations. If I'm going to buy lead cast I can get them from private sales for cheaper and it looks like Rusty wood doesn't do plated bullets. I sent them an email anyway.

Stop in at Lawry Shooting sports just outside Hamilton.Good amount of powder in stock, drg lead bullets, primers, lead shot, reasonable prices.Picked up a keg of 4350 and a keg of 3031 my last time through.Great service.Check their website for prices and availability.

If I were buying Hornady bullets I'd get them from P&D and they also have decent buys on the ZMax bullets in the 500 round boxes. I just got some in 40gr 224 for 80.00. Primers in eastern canada seem to be a lot cheaper than out west.I have paid as much as 40 per thousand a few years back when they were tough to get, but they last forever and you can't load with out them. Contact Rayner Shine Gunworks. From Sask but they have an outlet in Redcliff AB so you can save the some taxes. They usually have a good selection of powder and bullets.
