Anyone have a good line on .17hmr ammo? Im going to get some from CT if no one has a better plan. But maybe theres a great deal out there to be had. Who knows.

Unfortunately everything I want is out of stock at Cabelas. Not sure why companies leave things listed on their sites when its not in stock... annoying.
 
$10 for 50 is the best price ive seen so far. Shipping sucks. There are a few places with great prices on bulk, wolverine in particular, but with $50 shipping... not worth it.
 
I'd say call Epp's, they're closest to you. If you're looking for a deal, be sure to ask them for pricing on a "brick", should be 10 boxes of 50. They may/may not offer you a deal, but if you're prepared to spring for a couple of bricks...that would be the time to ask.

Not sure if you got your HMR yet, but every HMR I've shot showed a preference for one ammo over another. My Savage like 17gr. Hornady, my CZ 20gr. Hornady. In other words, buy a box of everything you can find and see what the gun likes. THEN go bargain hunting. If your evolution is anything like mine though, the HMR will eventually evolve into a hunter, your .22lr will be the plinker.
