Best place to buy a new beretta silver pidgeon

Update- shouldered a white onyx and got a good look at it. It's a little plain for my taste surprisingly so it's swung back to the sp I . I compared the 686 to a citori white lightning although it looked nice it did not feel as comfortable. The journey continues. :)
 
If It's any help I've hunted and shot clays with an SP and a browning 525 quite abit the browning alway came to my eye easier and handling was good but the beretta and I always got better results and it is alot nicer to carry all day.
 
Is the 686 white onyx sport labelled as such under the receiver? Or does it just say 686 onyx? I think the one I handled had a manual safety and no mid bead now I'm not sure if it was a field or sporting version.
 
Not sure they make a white onyx sport model. I always thought they were field only. I have seen the 686 spI for 1950 plus tax at Ellwood Epps but they don't have any right now. That is probably a reasonable price.
 
I should have done this first but the Beretta website does say the sporting white onyx does exist. I have not seen one though. Some of their stuff never seems to get to Canada.
 
I'll stop posting after this one. Gobles.ca have a 686 sp sporting with 32" barrels for 1995.00. Per-inventory sale they say.

Is that the older model silver pigeon sporting or the newer silver pigeon 1 sporting?

I just picked up a 686 white onyx Ducks Unlimited edition, saved a big chunk of cash buying used. Sold my Citori after putting this one to my shoulder, can't wait to get out and shoot it. Nothing wrong with the Browning but the Beretta just felt better to me.

She looks beautiful! I like the look of the white onyx slightly more than the sp1. Mind if I ask how much it cost used?
