Best place to buy and which shooters mat?

Tri-fold, 4 fold, Fat mats(thicker) and F Class mats (wider). Just about any colour you want. Some are not listed on his website.

Cabela's for $79.99 or those NC Star things from Wolverine.

Got the Cabela's one from my girlfriend for Christmas - haven't taken it to the range yet, but it looks like good quality kit: well made, good size, packs up nicely, right amount of padding, and (bonus!) two folds of cordura at the front that you can use to pre-load your bipod against - hadn't realized that from their website write-up.

I'm pretty happy with my US Peacekeeper mat. Got it from Brownells last year.

Granted it doesn't get used everyday (I wish!), but for $135 it's a solid piece that's well designed.

I don't want to highjack the OP but I'm debating between the cabelas shooting mat and the eberlestock padded magic carpet, and I was wondering if anyone wasable to give a comparison between the two. I'm probably going to be using it 95% of the time at the range and if I'm lucky 5% will be some varmint hunting.

I picked up a Blackhawk Pro-Shooters Mat from the Shooting Edge in Calgary a couple years ago, I really like it. It rolls up easily and has a carry strap and handles. One thing I read online before I bought mine was don't buy a black shooting mat as they can get very hot out in the sun, I bought a tan one.

What about the voodoo tactical roll up mats? I have never tried one but I'm thinking it would go good with the voodoo tactical drag bag I got for Christmas. Quick attach to the bag with molle straps. Anyone try one?

I got a self inflating air mattress from Wholesale Sports.

One of the shooting instructors said it was the most comfortable mat he laid on at the rifle course I got it for. Bout an inch thick, inflated. Was hard on the elbows when shooting prone, though. As the mattress flattened out with weight of them on it.

Got an Eberlestock for Xmas, but I don't think I'll be using it before spring. :)
