Best place to buy scrap lead

My club cleans out the backstop every six months or so and smelts the lead into 1lb ingots and sells it for $1/lb. It’s a good deal because I hate smelting dirty lead.
CD. How do you dispose of the bullet jackets? Most jkts are at least 80% copper.

Took me a while but helped a fellow load a bunch of scarp in his truck he bought at auction and he has a scrap yard and turned out he has tons of different lead in stock. So am set for life now. Difficult trying to find lead here due to language and maybe one in a million people can understand casting bullets with lead . Plus the language .

l hit the ''lottery'' this morn! After dropping off the dog for a bath and clip l headed to The Sunrise Restaurant for FOOD. Ordering my usual of pork chop, scrambled eggs w/cheese, l opted to choose the loaded hashbrowns on the ''SIDE''. Great breakfast with the dog being treated to my pork chop bone after his trip to the groomers!
The lottery win came when l took those loaded hashbrowns to my mechanic ROBBY. After l handed him food he tells me, ''Wait a minute". He goes back in, returning with app 60 pound box of used WHEELWEIGHTS:love: WOW! Talk about Valentines Day!❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ Back home l spent a happy 90 minutes sorting my treasure. l have not weighed my sorted weights yet, but l am confident half of those weights are LEAD!

What is the best place to buy lead , looking to cast for 12gauge slug and buckshot .
Thanks
I cut a downed tree and get a 18 inch long piece and use it as a back stop for 22lr target shooting. When the piece of wood is past it's best days, I chop it into firewood and burn it, collecting the lead. Just need to stay upwind and far away from the smoke. If I am using cast bullets for centerfire rounds, I cut a longer piece of wood around 36 inches, and cut it in 2 pieces to chop up. collect the lead.
