Best place to buy SKS in Toronto?

Hey, just got my PAL and looking to buy my first firearm. I already decided i want a SKS and then probably a Mosin afterwards.

Best place to buy an SKS? I saw that Tenda has it for 239.99 and then Firearm Outlet Canada has it for 249.95. Other places i checked werent carrying either firearm. Any of you have experience with buying from either of these places? Which would be cleaner, etc.

Thanks, just looking for some info before i dive in.
 
The guys at tenda are really good. They'll usually pull a few out for you to inspect which is nice. FOC is also another great gta store. There's a military surplus store in Toronto that has sks's for $209. They are a little weird and don't keep firearms onsite so you have to call ahead but if you're looking for cheap you probably won't find cheaper.

They aren't a vendor on here so I won't name drop them but if you're interested pm me and I'll send you their info.

Regarding which place will have "cleaner" rifles I'm going to assume you mean which will have less cosmoline on them? The more cosmoline the better! It's a chore to clean but it keeps them from rusting. The past three sks I've bought have all had minimal amounts on them. Probably wiped down somewhere in the importing process.
 
I know it's not i Toronto, but I drove up to Cabela's in Barrie to pick up my sks rifles. The clerk there let me inspect every SKS he had until I found the 2 I wanted. From time to time they have them on sale. Inspect the rifles thoroughly before buying one.

but yeah i live in scarborough, so the two i listed are the places i would actually drive up to. Initially the plan was to buy from FOC but the price jumped up from 204 to 249, which isnt a big deal but that 40 or so could be spent on ammo. Then i started exploring other retailers, and after this i guess i may be leaning towards Tenda or that mystery place in the city. If i end up going any further may as well pay for shipping from the cheapest place instead of gas back and forth.
 
I don't know where your seeing SKS's for $204 but if you can prove that's the price FOC has price matched for me before.... might be worth a try.
