best place to purchase sightron scopes

My Big Sky as become my favorite scope and for the mean time it is belonging to my 308 Nemesis... JP.
 
Those mildots cover an area about the size of a dinner plate at 500 meters. And which part dot you use to sight with, if you use them for sighting? The round edge? Mildots are for tactical use - measuring and hitting 1 foot square targets. Stick with the cross hairs and target dots for precision. (and prepare to spend $1400 like I did if you want the picket fence retical)
I have the fine crosshair in my SIII and I can tell you that there are times when it's hard to make out. If I could do it again I'd get a mildot or milrad reticle. They aren't excessively thick, and they give you the benefit of better repeatability on holdovers. Not having to constantly twist knobs would be handy too.
