I am just getting back into reloading and was wondering the best powder for reloading 28ga. These loads will be used primarily for shooting Skeet. Any advice on wads and primers to be used as well. Thanks. Cheers.

I have used with good success Longshot and Lil' Gun. I also prefer the AAHS hulls with AAHS wads and 7.5 shot for sporting and grouse/woodcock, or #6 nickle plated shot for pheasants. Good luck!

I use Aliant 20/28 works perfect, very consistent and clean burning. I load winchester AA hulls only with claybuster wads. As for primers I use cheddite primers for all shotshells I load. Cheap and work good 0 misfires. Load data for them is hard to find, I know they are hot so I load them with win209 data.

Still loading 5000-7000 a year old style AA compression hulls, with unique powder ,winchester primers and either winchester or claybuster wads. Has worked perfect for me for many years so I am not changing anything.:)
