Just wondering what is a good quality prohib made before 1946?

I like the old Berettas and Brownings, but I don't know any model numbers.

Thinking about a .32

I know it pretty vague, but I don't know anything about the old stuff.

Thanks

Hi Gerich,

The finest I've found is a Colt Official Police 6 shot .38 Special revolver. Mine was built in the late 30's and is wonderful. :)

Jeff/1911.

Personnally, I haven't seen that many "bad" prohib...

Whether it be a Browning, CZ, Walther, Unique, Mauser or Beretta... these pocket pistol were seldom fired and most of the wear and tear is from been carried around.

Just find a model that you like the look, and go at it :)

I think almost all the "prohibited" pistols produced before and during WWII were well made and interesting. Almost all of them appeared in 7.65mm (.32 ACP). You might look up specific countries for their sidearms (Walther, Colt, Inglis/Browning, Webley, SACM, Nambu, Beretta, CZ, and others) and decide that way, or look at guns produced after WWI (Colt, Remington, Savage, Webley and all the many European pistols). Any one of them would be worth having. For my money, two of the finest "pocket pistols" produced during WWII were the Colt Hammerless Pocket Model (Model M) and the Sauer 38H, both obtainable (although both rare in Canada, especially the Sauer) in .32. But any of them would be good.
