hey guys,

I'm looking for the shop with the best prices on reloading bullets in Canada.
I have a Savage 10fp (308), and I'm trying to construct a good accurate load for it - without spending $50 a pop!

Anyone have any suggestions?

thanks.

Why 168s? Lots of other bullet weights that are eqaully good, or better for some purposes. Don't limit yourself to one option.
For Hornady, try Higginsons; Lapua, Peter Dobson at Hirsch Precision.

The Sierra 155 match bullet tends to be accurate and not fussy. The NCRRA club in Ottwa was selling these last month for $300/1200 to target shooters, taxes in. Got any friends in the Ottawa area?

"...price on 168gn 30 cal..." Match grade? Last price I saw was around $300 per 1,000. There is no 'best price' for match grade bullets.
Have a look at 165 grain hunting bullets. The .308 loves 'em with IMR4064. The shipping to where you are must be horrendous.

308 bullets

It depends on your rifle, load and distance you want to shoot.
With my stock Rem700VS I get my best long distance (1000 yard) shooting with Berger 175gn VLD, For stuff < 500 I use 168 or 155.

I have less experience with Sierra 175's but they seem pretty good for long distance shooting as well, and less sensitive to seating depth
