Best prices on 38 spl and 357?

I just bought a S&W 586 and am now looking for ammo. Tradex has Sellier and Bellot 38 spl for 20.95 and 357 for 27.95. Free shipping if you order 1,000 rounds. Anybody know of anywhere offering a better deal?

SFSC has Wolf remanufactured back in stock. 38spl is 158.00 for 500 (158gr SWC). With shipping mine worked out to about $18.50 a box. Crazy LGS here in Saint John wants $35/box for Blazer!

Custom Reloading Services, a site sponsor, has .357 magnum for under 17 dollars per 50 and .38 for 13.39 for 50. They're reloaded rounds but they're outstanding quality that I fire through my Glocks, Sigs, Colt 1911, whatever. Might cost a bit to ship out your way but...

As others have said, get into reloading...you'll be able to make ammo for a fraction of retail.

Man I cringe at the cost of ammo nowadays.

If you buy 1000 factory rounds, save all your brass and buy a press next year. I loaded 1000 full house magnums for well under 100 bucks, the pistol brass will last decades.
