The eagle 15 Armalite I mentioned above are also available at true north but ar $825. About $50 more than S&J, I still haven't pulled the pin but if I do it will be the Armalite, it has a thicker barrel and heat shield under the forestock. So all of this panic buying could be just that? Fear? I owned two in the past. An Olympic Arms that I had Joe Dlask put a Lilja barrel on it years ago. Man that was a tack driver .25 moa at 100 yards, a little bigger groups at 200. And a Colt lower. I suppose I wouldn’t mind a A1 again. Reason I got rid of them wasn’t because of the liberals, it was that they are only range toys. Ahh what the hell, what’s $800 in the grand scheme of things, I’ll place an order by days end

Yes, I have noticed that also and am taking note of the ones gouging due to panic buying and folks trying to help increase the numbers. I will not deal with them once this fiasco is over. Shameful, luckily not to many. As long as they are legal, there will always be providers. Before this week the average price of the sport 2 was around $650-$670 with. Some at $750 and others as low as $599. ( although the $599 was a sale with very few rifles). Hats off to those who kept their prices the same or even put some on sale.
Yea, well we can avoid those types and that is part of the reason for this thread, to get the info out about prices and availability, lots around still so do your homework and decide which one you like ( can afford) best and go for it!
So keep letting us know here what you find, we still have time. Google reviews on the ones you are interested in and get some feedback, if you are going to put out the cash, even if it is for a good cause, might as well get as close as you can to the one you want for the best price available.

True and there are still dealers out there with supply who didn't raise their prices, so we can buy from them and the ones that are scabbing hopefully get to keep their stock, if they actually have it in country.
My local LGS, The Gun Dealer still has a few at pre panic prices. A couple of RRA LAR-15 pistols and a couple of Colt 6920s. They have them in the used section, but they are actually as new, according to the site. Also have a couple of DPMS .308s and a Sig MCX.

I finally did it, spent too much but hey,( thanks cpl) I got the Dpms rflr rec .308! $1000 plus tax and shipping. Hope it goes through. Nice looking rig and I have 700 rounds of hirtenberger ammo to run down the pipe to start with!
