best quality, fit and finish 1911 under $1000 ??????

Well, i have not purchased one yet...but...the Penticton show is this weekend....maybe ill get to see a few i have on my "maybe" list..and i appreciate all the feedback guys. I am also watching the ee like a hawk...

word of advice. all brands have manufacturing variance. I like sigs more then sams in general and overall but I'll put my thunderbolt against any mass market 1911 out there...and win. One sig great, the next not so much. One sam great, another a lemon. Keep that in mind on the ee. A great many are the lemony-fresh kind. If you can feel touch and see and dryfire before purchase you are lightyears ahead of the game.
