Best Release Agent

A number of years ago I had a problem with the release agent that came with the Brownells Acraglass kit not working. I called the Brownells help line and the guy told me to throw that stuff away and use paste floor wax. He was right.

Kiwi shoe polish paste works just as well as floor past wax and so does furniture paste wax.

You need to be very careful with spray on cooking oils. Just make sure they don't contain salt or other corrosive ingredients.

So it came out like butter but I didn't use enough epoxy so I did some dremeling
And added more btw I couldn't find devcon steel locally so I used lepage steel and I don't recommend it it set up so fast I barely had time to get it ready

You need to prepare the old bedding compound so the added will bond to the original base. There will be residue on the original that must be removed to allow complete bonding.

I scuffed up the parts where there wasn't enough with the dremel think that's good enough?

Take your dremel and hog some little holes in the epoxy to mechanically lock the new epoxy into place as well. If you tried looking for plastic steel at industrial plastics and paints and they were out sorry that was me...I cleaned them out last month.
