best rifle for zombies

Have you budgeted for the handcart you're going to need to lug all that around?

Wouldn't need a handcart. Shotgun across the back, pistol in holster and assault rifle on chest. No need for hand cart. Only need one unpinned drum and maybe an unpinned 30 rounder in a pouch and then two standard capacity glock mags in pouches. I wouldn't be going far from my base so the only rounds I would need in the shotty would be the ones in the gun as it would be my back up to the pistol.

Yup, 'frickin lazerbeams'... just cut of their heads and its quiet too... I've seen lots of zombie movies, and of course the walking dead, but I've never seen this '28 days' movie yet. Any good?? But back to the original question.... I'd have to go with the sks.... after it runs out of ammo I can use it as a club. When it breaks , I'll use another one, because anybody that has one usually has a half dozen more....lol...

My choice would be the 858, but after I ran out of 7.62, I'd prob swap to somthing else with more readily available, or more day to day common, ammo.

I remember reading somewhere that the 7.62 soviet round is the most common round and most plentiful in the world, so If you have to switch to something more plentiful and common, there better be a helluva lot of dead zombies.

My apologies if this belongs to someone on CGN.
But...

Ohhhhh dammmmnnnnn! I so want one!!!

Zombies generally suffer from a sense of malaise and move very slowly.

Well, according to the new movie trailer for World War Z - they be very quick buggers! As for the undead nonsense - y'all have spend time in a mortuary or with an embalmer - the undead zombie thing will soon disappear. Now as for a pandemic episode where a virus mutates into a form which infects the brain resulting in a rabid, insatiable craving for fresh blood and meat - well then, that's different. 308 M14 all the way babee! :ar15: :dancingbanana:
