I have picked up an Anschutz model 310 that is amazingly accurate.Time for some decent optics and rings. I have the scope ,whats the best rings I can get - 1" tube.

I like the Burris Signature Zee rings. They have the plastic inserts that protect the scope tube from ring marks, prevent binding on the scope due to ring misalignment and allow you to use offset rings to add elevation for long range shooting.

+1 on Zee rings. Work really well if you want to shoot some longer distances, just pop in new inserts and off you go.

I agree with the zee rings suggestion, however, where is the best place to find them?
I found the set I have at P&D, but they don't always have them in stock.

If you won't be shooting long range, the non-signature Z-rings are good, without the offset plastic insert.

They also come in a QD version.

Its a rimfire damnit, wont any rings do?

While 'any' ring would work... some are nicer than other ;) If you spend the money for a 'nice' rifle, spend the money for a 'nice' scope... might just as well go the extra mile and spend the money for some 'nice' ring.

Personally, I am somewhat partial to the Talley

perfect many thx, I will send a PM to mystic pr. as sugested.
btw myself and a friend from here have been shooting .22 out to 300m its the most dam fun you can have for $3.00 .we both have scopes with graduated elavation lines & were at the second to lowest line at 300m. with .22 blasers we can fairly regularly hit clay pigeons proped up on the backstops, from a bench rest.I know it sounds like B.S. but its working,at first we stopped and laughed our heads off but were getting regular hits now.

If you are shooting at 300m, mention this to Jerry and he can get you a set of offset inserts to add 20MOA of elevation to your setup so you aren't shooting so far off the center of your recticle.

I believe you can go 30 MOA total with the insert package, +20 on bottom rear, -10 on bottom front.
