Best rounds for xd 9mm tactical

New to pistols here waiting on my xd 9mm , I was wonder what anyo of you who have a xd finds works the best .

Fmj , jhp , grains what's a good grain for this gun ?

124 grain FMJ is pretty well the best all round load for just about any 9mm. I have an XDm and it feeds anything I put in it so I imagine it will feed whatever you can find. But 115 and 124 grain FMJ's are pretty well the most common. Unless you are a cop or have some reason for self defence ammo, dont waste your money on hollow points as they just cost more and offer no difference in acurracy. CCI or Amreican Eagle are what I generally shoot and I've never had a failure or any kind.

Just shoot them all and find out. My Glock 9mm always loves the Heavy ####. I buy 124gr and 147 gr when I can get it.

i always use fmj different from 115gr to 147gr never had a failure. i used blazer, american eagle remingtion and some cheap reloads.

The xd9 is a great pistol and will likely work well with any factory ammo. I wouldn't worry too much about ammo. Just go shoot it.

I've got probably 8000 rounds down the pipe on mine and I've NEVER had a failure. I just buy whatever's on sale at the time by the case and the gun likes it all.
