what might be the good scope for Siberian ? Not super expensive but something that can get job done.

Right now i have Vortex Sparc2 on my Ruger PCC which i might move to Siberian and use iron sights.

if sparc2 is good enough for Siberian than i can probably get bushnell TRS25 for ruger and call it a day.

opinions ?

What are you using it for?
on my 223 platform I use a red dot with magnifier, but its only intended for 250 yds and in. If I were wanting to shoot further a LPVO would be probably the direction I go to.

I'm not a fan of buying used optics, whereas I have no such issues with guns or other accessories.

Not sure what your thought process is on its use, but I try to think not only of current/planned intent, but future use as well.

I had a look at a Primary Arms LPVO on the weekend, and I quickly warmed to it.

thank you. was reading about it. https://lynxdefense.com/best-lpvo/

which version you will suggest ? 1-6 ?

I'm not certain of the model I was looking at / through, as I think they offer several models and differing price points.
For sure go with FFP (imho).
I watched a few reviews of the SLx 1-6 and it seems decent for the price.

Not sure what other board sponsors offer for PA's line up, but that is a good place to start.

FOC looks to be offering a decent deal on the 1-8 FFP SLx, but out of stock (probably the one I'd lean toward):

Tenda seems to have decent pricing and selection:

I have a bushnell AR scope on my WK it works great has the BDC on it and if I remember it wasn’t that expensive. Also vortex crossfire scopes are pretty decent and not all that expensive (they are always on sale at Cabela’s) comes with a great warranty as well lol. I also had my truglo ignite 30mm red dot on it as well worked great. It all depends on how far you are looking to shoot and what you like.

any specific model ? even today they have scopes on sale

Magpul has riser for the Zhukov stock available for purchase, and if you just want to try it out first and have access to a 3D printer, plans for the riser are online.

My bushnell scope is a 3-9x40 I have no complaints about it. Ya Cabela’s has sale every week on scopes and red dots you can find something in your price range. Just read a few reviews or watch a YouTube video on the one you like it will give you a good idea. Hell I think I seen a crossfire scope today on sale for $200 it was a 3-9x50

I have a 4-12x56 vortex on mine in extra high vortex rings. Scope is high enough you don’t have to scrunch up on the stock to get a good eyebox. Glass is decently bright and clear and it will save a few $ to upgrade the trigger. Never had a milspec trigger until I bought a Siberian and was very disappointed in the take up and heavy pull. Mine isn’t a range gun though and is just used for coyotes

I have a Bushnell AR 1-4x24 which is illuminated and is FFP and features a BDC reticle. It is solid and reliable with decent glass and is right at home on a 556 rifle. The AR line has quite a few options that would suite your needs within your budget.

If you are going to carry a rifle I always think about the combined weight of the scope and rings. If you want to keep the weight down you might consider a prism scope like the Vortex spitfire gen 2 which weighs 9 ounces for the 3X version. LPVO scope will weigh more than twice this when the rings are included.
