Best scope for kids?

My favorite rimfire scope for the money is a banner 4-12 a/o with quick release weaver rings on a one piece base.
Its all the scope i need and focuses at 10 yards at full power and is easily removed to let the kids shoot with the fiber optic irons.
They have sharp eyes let them use them then put the scope back on for you! Only thing is its rather heavy.

 
Lots of scope ideas but did not see anyone talk about the tube size. I recommend a 30 mm tube as opposed to a 1 inch. I just like the kids to have a bigger view to find their target.
