Best Scope for Under $100. for .22

I recently saw a Tasco 6-24 target/varmint AO mildot for $119... I have 1 on a .223 and it has held zero so far, I can see targets at 300 pretty decently.

I have a Leapers 4-16x50 mildot AO with target turrets and it has worked perfect for a few years, forget what I paid for it but it was under $100!

I have a Bushnell 3-9x40 on the EE right now for $50+ ship but its duplex reticle not mildot.

Another vote for the Simmons .22 Mag available in fixed 4x or 30-9x. Great scope at a super price. I bought the fixed 4x for my Marlin 795. After that, I'd recommend the Nikon Prostaff 2-7 at around $150 when I bought it last year.
 
Part of the problem with a scope on a Henry Lever is that the scope covers the hammer and you can't ####/uncock. So I bought a cheap Bass Pro straight 4x which is on the small side and easily allows c/u and very clear. Haven't shot it yet but hoping. Installed steel Rings instead of the aluminum ones supplied. Ordered my UTG pellet gun scope mount from Amazon. Will install later. Much more secure than regular scope rings. Have one on my Marlin 795. Thanks for all the replies.
 
Simmons are a good scope. I like the one on my marlin 60. I have a scorpion 3-9x32 with the trajectory compensation reticle on my bl22 and I love it. Cross hairs dead on at 50 yds and the dots are right on out to 200 yds. I can hit a 6" steel plate consistently at 200 yds. I think I paid$80 for it a year ago and I just won another in a shoot a few weeks ago and price tag was 89. Best part is the lifetime warranty. If they screw up take back to dealer and they hand you a new one no questions asked
 
Have 32mm and 40mm scopes on several of my .22s. The 40s are so much better for picking up gophers looking over the top of your barrel for them and then down into the scope. 32 for the Henry though cause a lever looks crap with a bulky scope or any scope really. Have 40s on everything else given a choice.

You can put on any size scope you want, you just need to get an hammer spur. It just slides over the back of the hammer and tightens on with a set screw, they're pretty standard for any scoped lever action.

For the scopes, I've used the tasco 22mag, it's decent, the .22 bushnell (older gen) is way better quality than the simmons, but I can't comment on the newer style ones. Like Sk8 said earlier, I know a few people who use the tasco varmint scopes on theirs and like them.
 
I got a Bushnell banner for 65 bucks on clearance at Canadian tire. So far my nicest no nonsense set of glass. Very bright. Nice cross hairs. Good for rimfire work.
 
I had a couple Simmons 3x9x32 22 mag scopes and gave them away.
They had a lot of flare in the bright sun. I replaced one with a Sun Optics 3x9x40.
It was under $100 and I'm very impressed with the optical and build quality.
I replaced the other with a Hawke HD IR 3x9x40 with an illuminated reticle.
It was around $150 and good quality for the price.
