best scope?

What would be the best scope for a 375 H&H? I would if i got the rifle want something with lots of eye relief and be around 2-7x range of magnification.
so who makes a good product that wont break the bank.

I've got a Leupold 3.5-10 VX111 on my H&H, but the 2-7 VX11 would also serve you well. Eye relief is more than ample and very forgiving in either case. I've pounded 850 rounds through this CZ since spring, and so far nothing broke. I haven't been "stroked" by it either.
What you'll find with bigger rifles is that the investment in time, components, and recoil is big enough that saving a couple hundred or so on a scope means little or nothing.

THE best? Schmidt&Bender. But it seems by your request that you may be looking at something a little more down to earth. I have read on many sites that the sightron s2 line has won a host of recoil tests and the mechanics are very rugged. I have a friend with a 1.5x6x42 and the glass may not be leupold/burris/nikon but the clicks are very repeatable and for $260.00 from bear basin i beleive it to be a very good value.
