Best Semi 22 Mag?

My brother-in-law wants to buy a Semi-Auto 22Mag, I have never looked at them....any suggestion? I handled a CZ-512 today....not sure about that one. Anyone make a custom 22 Mag on a Ruger 10/22 frame?

Ya, I have one, but it was alot of work. If I was going to do it again I'd probably just buy a Magnum Research. w w w.magnumresearch.com/Browse.asp?Category=MagnumLite:Rifles

It is do-able if you have alot of patience. I already had an extra barrel and magazines for my factory 10/22 magnum, so the initial cost for me to build one was cheap. All I would have been out, if I couldn't get it to work, was the hogue stock that I modified.

22 mag

I have a mag research 22 mag and it is a very nice rifle, and extremely accurate, however costly.

The only thing you need to do is put an after market ejector in it which I highly recommend.

Keep looking for a Ruger one. They show up every so often. I paid $450 for one a couple of years ago with extra target barrel/stock. Now it sports a 25 rd mag and bipod.
