Best semi auto 12ga for $500-$600

I am in the market for a new/used shotty. Here is what I need, want.
Semi-auto of course
A short barrel for a camp gun
Long barrel for birds and Skeet.
Reliable

What are my options??

I run a Baikal MP153 semi for goose hunting...

It's back up is Benelli Nova pump...

Both can be had for around $400-$500 in the EE from time to time...

No reason why a barrel cannot be shortened.

Better deal: Used Super X1. Usually can be had for about $400 to $500.

OP wants two barrels for that price. I guess you could shorten one but then you have the added expense of having a bead soldered back on, plus you'd have no choke or you'd need to install a screw in....plus you'd need to find a spare barrel. Tough to keep on budget doing all that I'd guess.

Have to say it again. Mossberg 930 semi automatic with a 18.5 home defense barrel and 28 inch bird barrel for 585 plus tax. Milarms has three in stock on their site.

I could possibly know where there is an A-5..... 2 3/4" with a fixed Modified ribbed barrel
and a spare beater barrel that could be chopped down for a cylinder bore.
The stock has been replaced with the Tupperware sort.

For your demands a Mossberg 930 2 barrel set makes sense to me. A very nice gun

I think I'll start looking for a mossberg 930, & I'll check out the super x and browning a5.
For the right price I can make anything do double duty.

A5 barrels are expensive. Too expensive to chop.

But 1100s or 11-87s are common, as are barrels.
