Best slug shotgun

Price range: $1000-$2000 with scope.

What would you recommend?

You can buy a shotgun for a lot less than that.Remington w/cantilever barrel.Mossburg 590.Benelli m1 super 90,shoot em with buckshot.

I think the savage 210F is pretty good, it's a bolt action with clip. http://savagearms.com/210f.htm now if you wanted to spend more you could get a custom barrel made with a faster twist.

I just picked up a Remington 870 12g Deer/Turkey combo. Its got a camo finish, has a 20 or 21" riffled barrel, a 22" shot gun barrel with a turkey choke and I also picked up a Bushnell Red-Dot. All this was 900cdn and is a great shooter!

The Savage 210 amd the 870 slug gun are both great. I have one of each.

Neither shoots as well as my H&R Ultra slug gun with Leupold 1-4 scope. This is as close to a tack-driver as I think a shotgun can get. And with the budget that you've allocated, you could probably get three of 'em!

With that kind of money, I'd go with a nice browning combo.
