best source for 223/556 brass if I don't want to spend $1/case for Lapua? Good brass

I want to make a bunch of .223 rem. I've decided to load my owner rather than factory because accuracy matters to me. I know Lapua is the best out there, but at $1/case, it's very expensive when once-fired is in the 9 cent per case range.

I want to buy a brass case that can be reloaded several times. Can anyone point me towards something in the middle that will allow me to get good accuracy and is reasonably priced?

I also want to do this soon because I assume a rush on ammo is coming...

Thanks

I've found the velocity SD in 7.62 rounds made with LC brass was about twice that of rounds made with Hornady brass. LC brass is cheap and strong, but I would not say it's a great brass for precision rounds.

Buy the cheapest 1x fired brass you can find. Weight sort it, then volume sort it with h2O. Once you're done going through a few thousand, a $100 box of Lapua is looking pretty darn good

I still have a few boxes (big boxes) of free 1f mil 5.56 mixed. It's mostly Win, with some Fed and other odd ball stuff in with it. I usually sort 100 and it lasts forever. Probably won't run out in my lifetime.
