it takes some time to search thru but sometimes u get lucky and save big bucks, i've saved $200 on a $700 gun and $300 on a $900 gun. if u buy it this way, u could always sell it and break even...happy hunting

Also...

My friend shoots a 30-06 and so did my dad. I am thinking I will go that way aswell.

I'd say if you are going to hunt with others that are using 30.06, then it might be a good idea to use the same cartridge, just in case someone runs out of ammo, and also to prevent mixing up of .270 and 30.06, which has happened in the past and is a bad idea.

I'd buy a Husqvarna 30/06 from Trade Ex, get it bedded and trigger done and then add a Leupold VXII 2x7.

kinda what i figured...

so many choices and so little $$$ i think im going to have to spend a little extra (or look used) to get the features i want... i guess its not like guns loose alot of value. if i dont like i can sell or trade and loose what? shipping costs...
