The best store is the one that has what you need in stock. It's getting pretty frustrating to find some componants with any consistancy. Shipping can really jack up the price so buy as much as you can locally.
You must be new there is a primer shortage thats been going on for sometime... trust me if could buy some at the wholesale level I would have them on my site... nothing in any brand is avaliable to me right now... earliest restock would be october.
I dont get into powder and primers because they have to be shipped as hazardous goods. which adds 27 dollars onto the cost of shipping when i had primers average shipping fee was in excess of 50 dollars per 5000 pcs which can drive the price up.
LeBaron on St-Laurent Blvd had quite a bit of primers still left last week. So did Dante, who just received some CCI last week too. Don't know if they still last.
As for powder and primers, you'll save plenty $$$ in picking up instead of having it delivered.
I usually pick up my primers from either Le Baron or Dante... they have some decent price... (service is kind of a hit or miss with them).
But for powder and bullets, I usually make the trip to see Andrew (a good guy) at Higginson Powder in Hawkesbury since shipping powder can be expensive... (www higginsonpowders com)
There's also something to be said about supporting our board sponsors (like msg.drew), and in some case, the saving in tax will cover the shipping...
If you are looking for pistol bullets and don't feel like driving, CTM usually has a good selection on hand.
