Best tacticool sks stock!

The best SKS is the least modified one. Those stocks look cool but they eliminate one of the key benefits of the SKS - ease of maintenance. In the end you are paying $800 for a dressed up $200 rifle.

Not just the stocks make it more difficult to take apart and clean but the full length rails that are really popular make is a bit of a pain to get it apart and clean it. With non-corrosive ammo it's not a big deal. Boresnake, wipe bolt face, and done. So, if I were to tactical an SKS again, I would commit to just using non-corrosive ammo. You can make it work but it won't ever be AR easy to clean. The best mod for the SKS is the bolt mod and the trigger guard mag release. You can fire rounds out way faster than anyone using charger clips ever with just 5rds.

OP are you serious? I've seen you shoot down other posters here when they ask about aftermarket stocks and now you're praising the Scorpio? ...cuz doing the equivalent of building ikea furniture every time you clean your rifle is totally cool but a $100 tapco stock that still let's you field strip in 30 seconds is lame...okay dude....

I thought it looks cool I would not buy one. I keep it stock. Just like my classic cars.

So whats the point of this thread? I like this rifle stock, but I'm going to keep the rifle stock. Yet many other threads about changing rifle stocks, adding accessories. Thumb hole on a M38 YUCK.
