Best trigger group on an "affordable" rifle?

I have a remington 7400 that I've had for many years and it has a terrible trigger with too much play prior to firing. In your oppinion what rifle has the best trigger group in a gun under $1000?

for hunting? Anything with a "set trigger" I believe it os an option on almost all tikkas.

X-bolt has a great trigger,
I prefer the Marlin X7 trigger over the Accutrigger, plus no risk of lock up.
