Best tumbler for the money

I have one but it's branded "cabela's". Same tumbler. Works really great. I cannot believe the amazing sheen it has brought to some 70 year old brass I have. It's great. I do have the cabela's brass polish put in with the media, however.

Dunno much, but the family Lyman vibratory has been going strong for a few decades. Same deal: tumble all night, strain in the morning, tumble all day, strain after work. On weekends I could do 2 batches during the day unless the media is getting really dirty.

NOTHING competes with stainless pins. I would save my money and get yourself a stainless tumbler right from the beginning.

If you are mechanically inclined you can make one out of different things as others on this forum have such as an old treadmill etc.
This is what I did...not exactly compact, but works like a charm

The best tumbler in the business with the biggest capacity is the very fine unit made by Dillon. Cleans 1500 9mm pieces, 1100 38 special cases or 900 44mag cases in less than 2 hours.
Why not go bigger? Dillon Precision Products. Best tumbler, best value.

biggest? Nope, lol

buy the thumblers large vibratory, easily does 1,000 30-06 brass at a time.

Well, I ended up getting the Frankford. I set it up with 100 .30-06 brass for about 5 hours and I am happy with the results. For right now, until I decide what pistol calibre I will be shooting, it will do the job on 200 or so rifle brass a couple times a year. The pail / separator works ok but can get a little messy. But for $96.00 for the kit, I am content.

My Frankford Arsenal tumbler works well for my purposes. I use Lyman corncob media in it and recycle it with the Lyman treatment solution. I wish I had bought the kit with the separator but that came out afterwards, but I have their sieve and all the five gallon pails I'll ever want (I'm a painter.)
