I know this must have been ask before but doing it again so sorry for repetes !!!
Whats the very best turkey choke tube for a mossberg 500 30" barrel.I've never used anything other than a straigth full choke barrel so any and all help is great !.

I use an Carlson XFULL ported Turkey choke on my Mossberg 500 & get good patterns out to 40 yrds with Winchester Supreme Turkey loads. Every shotgun is different, so you will have to invest some time & money to pattern your gun. If you can, get together with some friends, each of you buy a different box of turkey loads, & pattern your guns at the same time.

There is no such animal. It will all depend on your choice of loads, bbl, and gun. One choke will not perform the same in 2 identical guns.

Buy a good quality choke (the best you can afford) and then spend some $$ on a couple of different boxes of ammo (ideally share with friends) and then see what combo works best for you.
 
I bought an H&S Ported Undertaker for my 12 gauge Benelli Nova... My wife is picking up a H&S Undertaker for her 20 gauge 870 on the weekend...

My Mossy 535 with an undertaker 665 choke puts 74 holes in a 12" circle @40yds with hevishot#5. It out performs several other expensive choke tubes I tried also, try a few like the others said but don't be fooled by the more pricey the better.

I have heard some very good reviews of the Indian creek tubes also

I got the mossberg 935 overbored barrel and it loves the Primos Tight wad choke and Winchester surpreme #5. I havn't tried any of the heavier then lead shot though. I might go pattern my gun tommorow +15c, now that I seen this thread.

Let me know how your wifes setup works with the HS. I know that I put a .555 IC into my Ol ladys 20 ga Rem and she is getting in the high 90's at 40 yards with #6 Hevi 13.

I would be interested to know how you make out...

My Ol Ladys 20 gauge out shoots that. Sell that Mossy and but a Remington :evil: or get a good choke.......

I took a couple shots with my gun today with some Rem junk 3" #5 2oz loads and they sucked @ 40 yards no pics. It did great @ 20 yards so here's a pic. Shooting a little low I got to remove my drop shim for my stock. I also have to find some more SUPREME Win 3 1/2" 2oz #5 ammo its deadly in this gun.
