Just putting the idea out there....

Say you've got an SR-22... youve dropped in a timney trigger at about 2.75pounds (stock being about 8)... theres a nice little illuminated reticle 2.5-12x optic on there....
youve got handy grips for hip shooting (STEN gun mag style) and a GSG 110round drum loaded.... and an angled foregrip for another cool option....

what are best uses for this thing?

WHat do you use your .22 plinkster extreme for?

gophers in the field?
wild chickens/grouse while hunting/camping?
squirrel/rabbit control?
paper and pop cans?

full shaken pop cans? :D

IF I had a tactical with 110 drum mag fully loaded.....

I would most defiantly take my Fox Pro Spit Fire into the bush, set up the Crow Fight call and wait for oh say 3 minutes when 80 crows show up on tree tops and flying around.... Then unleash all 110rds.....

OR just shoot pop cans... lol

There is a crow call?????
that is awesome.

I used my overkill Nomad set up for grouse hunting just for laughs. The weight didnt bother me, but it wasnt comfortable to shoulder for long walks. Worked great for follow up shots though!

OH man.... The Crow Fight call brings them in within seconds!!!! As long as just 1 crow in in the area, they come by the flocks!!!! It's insane!!!

BUT, remember Crows are super smart..... IF you call them in, shoot and miss..... you won't see them again. ( unless you go back days later )

Theres a bright idea shooting upwards 100+ rounds, no back stop.

see now lets not fight
instead, lets agree that in principle, shooting with no backstop is a poor idea..
But that mitigating that risk are the fact that we are using small, low velocity limited range ammunition in a secluded area away from any bystanders or other risky things, and that we are not complete nancyboys who need to bubblewrap the entire world.

see. context and reason avoids an argument over simplistic and poorly thought out "rules".

I totally agree that trees make great backstops.

Duck hunters don't have trees in the sky..... I'll leave it at that...

Duck hunters use shot, not bullets. Shot doesn't fly like a bullet.

What would I do with a rifle that has that much sh!t hanging off it?
Probably sell it to you. :)

That GSG 110 sure looks bulky. The BC 25s are bad enough. How many animals are dumb enough to still be around after 25 shots.

I am thinking paperweight or doorstop.

I won't say what a man can and cannot do with his gun, but you made me lol :D

I've only fired a single round at a pest animal from a single shot .22lr but it would have stuck around for 24 more as it kinda stopped moving right after the first one
