Best Value 2ndhand Beretta O/U

I haven't been watching the secondhand market for a long time and am hoping to get folks' impressions on where the best value can generally be found for a Beretta 12ga 30-32" O/U. My primary use will be for skeet and would prefer to spend around $1-3k and potentially up to $5-6k but only if the savings would really be worth it.

I'd suggest keeping an eye on the EE for a Silver Pigeon 1. I've had one for...gosh...15 years, and it has been rock solid with beautiful wood grain and etching. Love it!

That's what I'm thinking. Just waiting for a sporting model to turn up now.

If you are going as high as $5-6K take a look at a brand spanking new Beretta 688 or a used 694. Used SP1 , 690's etc all fall into the upper price range.
