Very nice, looks like they designed a new muzzle brake and a proper bipod for the rifle. How much was it if you don't mind me asking?

New muzzle break and some new machining on the bolt... The bi-pod is an LRA - Long Range Accuracy

As for price... There was no way I could afford it... All I can say is Merry early Christmas and a biiiiiiiig thank you to my dad for spoiling me rotten

Very cool. I know DG photography here on CGN owns one and uses it frequently. Quite an impressive rifle, I was out this past weekend with him and he was making easy 900 meter shots on steel with his.

If you don't mind me asking, where did you source the LRA bipod from? I have been trying to get one for a while and communication between the manufacturer and he just stopped responding for no reason, and he stopped returning my calls and emails.

You also need to do a bit better than a cell phone cam for that bad boy, we want high resolution photos!

Yeah, I've been chatting with him and he seems like a stand up guy!

I got the LRA as part of a package with the rifle and scope... Maybe PGW has some more left..?

PGW changed the parts spec on these slightly and they now come with the LRA bipod instead of the Atlas. Change is good!

So PGW changed their muzzle brake? Any particular reason why? Beauty rifle by the way! Two thumbs UP! I'm digging the sleeker/thinner muzzle brake! :D

Any fifty should be accurate at 1000y. I honestly don't think u can buy a bad one these days. Wait...does norinco make one?

Yes and they're really proud of it, some even saying it is the most accurate rifle in the world. *snicker*

Here's a video showing it, and despite the NK title it's actually China.

Does PGW offer a .50 with a non folder stock? I love the look of the rifle, but I hate folding stocks...

Trying to decide between the M99 and a PGW offering...

Yes they do, it's a single shot as is the M99 but Canadian made, better quality and dealing direct and with great people

Is it tho when comparing a $4k rifle to a $6k one?

Well... yes. Barrett is not exactly known for putting out low quality firearms.

Don't get me wrong here, I have zero experience with Barrett or PGW; just playing the devil's advocate in the spirit of discussion AND furthering my info gathering for my own benefit :)

As with most of our models these days we have 50 cal rifles in single shot fixed stock and repeater folding in our inventory currently for immediate delivery....

Just out of PURE curiosity (well, maybe a touch of desire). (After the amount I spent on guns this year, the wife would hurt me really bad if I started talking about a new one). How much does one of these go for? When (and if) I do get a .50 BMG it would be of this variety... I don't like anything that looks too military (pistol grips and the such).
