Best walking gun in .223/5.56?

I like my Mdl 700 LVSF rifle to walk around wiht..It's so light it's like carrying a pellet rifle

gotta second Pauls vote for the Rem. CDL 7. A very classy, easy to carry package. If I were feeling flush, I'd screw a 22" 1-8" mountain rifle tube onto it, and throat the chamber so I could seat 75 amax at 2.500 COAL, and modify the spacer at the back of the mag box so they would feed. Would shoot 62 tsx if there was ever a need as well...
