What is the best and easiest way to clean all the old lube out of a lubesizer. I just bought one used but there seems to be different kinds of lube in it. I am just curious of what the best way to clean all the old lube out. Beside doing a ton if boolits. :) thanks.

Lacquer thinner, paint thinner, or something along those lines should work. Barring that, maybe put it in some boiling water or oven to melt the stuff out? :p

Gasoline or Kerosene.
Brake cleaner is your (better) friend; if not, you should get better acquainted. It will dissolve all lubricants/oil/grease and does it with an easier application method and out of a can as well.

Brake Cleaner will be hard on O-rings sealing the piston, I would use a Hair dryer/heatgun and melt it out, bit of heat won't damage the seals like chemicals will.

Try WD40 on a sample of your lube. I use it all the time for lube cleanup of the lube I use. In combination with heat from hair dryer should not be a problem.

As a comment to the lacquer thinner idea you must be in a well ventilated place "outside" well away from any open flames or sources of ignition. I use that stuff to clean up welded projects and it is nasty.

As an additional idea to get lube moving, here is what I set up using a magnetic heater from Princess Auto. I know they are factory available for each lube/sizer but I use a few setups and I can transfer the heater form lube sizer to lube sizer.
Just attach heater under raised steel platform at base of tool. Temp adjustment is a little crude, just move the heater until you get desired lube flow. I have used it for over 200,000 bullets. I have a star luber and a magma caster for larger volume.
The star also has a raised platform and the heater is used.

Unless you are lubing high velocity bullets that require extra hard lube I would just use it up. Seems like a waste of a lot of energy to clean out lube that is, in all likelihood, perfectly fine for your application. When I use my luber-sizer I don't put a whole stick of lube in it in case I want to change lube types. I find about 1 1/2" of lube stick is fine to do a lot of bullets and if I want to change lubes I'm not stuck trying to use up 3 inches of lube stick before I can change over. If I need more of the same lube I just add another 1 1/2" section to the luber.

Whoa, 30 sticks.... That's gonna lube a lot of boolits that's for sure, unless you are making 3 groove 500+ gr for 45/70 you will be in lube for a long time.

Make sure you use heat with that lube, it doesn't flow well without it. Very good lube though.
