Best way to clear a bullet stuck in the barrel?

Can you chamber a round that has no projectile and just shoot the stuck bullet out???

if you want to blow the action and barrel to get million pieces stuck on your face.. then yes!
take it to gunsmith and save the barrel! the best and cheapest way to do it!
or get a strong cleaning rod that fits the barrel and try to push it out but never ever fire a powder in it cause it will try to blow up the barrel!

Oh and the cleaning solvent on either end of barrel and let it soak for few mins. this helps the bullet to slide easier!

I'd recommend chambering an empty casing, and soaking that bullet in some kind of penetrating fluid; that or diesel, diesel makes a great, thin lube. Let it sit barrel up than go with what guntech initially suggested.

Full length brass brazing rods are available at ANY place that sells welding supplys....WHY would ANYONE reccomend using steel anything inside a barrel???

Buy some silicone spray and give it a good squirt first. Let it soak around the bullet and knock it out with a metal rod(stainless filler rod, mild steel filler rod or brass or bronze rod). Please don't use wood!!

Out of curiosity, what is wrong with using a wooden dowl?
