Hold on bone structure as much as possible. Elbows on hips if it fits, and sling to steady. Light weight is more helpful offhand than the heavy bench rests where weight is helpful. Good wide offset stance, forward lean. Light trigger, good breathing technique and reasonable expectations. Accept that it won't be as good as bench, but good is possible with practice.
