Best way to pull surplus 7.62X39 bullets?

I tried Boomers method with the wire strippers tonight and it was pretty slick. I only did a couple test rounds but walking out to the garage for the tool was beter than waiting for a die on order at my local shop.

When I measured the powder there were 22.3 grains and 22.4 so I put the powder in a couple .303 brit cases under a 155gr cast bullet to test fire.

The bullets came out with little more than a scratch on either side of it. Saved to use later

+1 I actually did this last night as well, as I ran out of powder and had other stuff loaded that I wasn't shooting anymore. I pulled 35 bullets last night, and only damaged one, and that's because I didn't have enough light to really see if I'd grabbed the bullet or not. This is a surprisingly good poor-mans method for pulling bullets. I'm glad I stumbled upon this thread yesterday. Now I have enough stuff loaded for my shoot tomorrow night.
