Best/worse factory rounds for reloading 303 & 45 acp??

I give away or trade small primer .45 brass. It would be easier to stick with small primers, but I got a deal on about 4000 large primer brass. I'm committed.

X2 on PPU, the best you can get for .303
If you've only got the one rifle, neck size only, until shoulder needs to be bumped back.

S&B isn't bad after a primer pocket uniforming, but their brass seems a bit more harder/brittle.

Winchester brass has been known for quality issues lately, and their cases are thinner than most. Even doing everything right the most I've gotten from them is 3-4 firings before the white ring of death appears

This.

303 Brit = Neck sizing only if you want to fire your brass more than 3 times. A lee collet fits perfectly this purpose.

No issues with 45ACP small primers, they shoot as good as the LP. You just have to keep inventory of 2 primer sizes if you mix and make sure you don't mix. If you reload on a progressive press, it's more annoying.

99% of the 45 brass I shot or received was large primer, a handful is small primer, and I'm not going to bother switching up the press for small primers when I have more than enough large primer stuff. So it's just laziness, and preference to whatever I have the most of.
CCI Blazer & I think PPU stuff is all I've seen so far for small primer 45.
