The only remington i've bought was a R-510 titanium last year. works great - no complaints. really easy to clean too. just rinse with water.

No vote for remington. I was looking for a 270. Not to highjack thread, but what about Browning? Savage I own plus the older Win 70 but not in 270. Curious about Browning compared to Remington re quality. Looking for a 270.

Me too ........... and this list would include a lg smattering of Model Sevens, 788s, 760s, 7600s and 870s.

The only non-Rems I own now is a CZ 20ga shotgun and a Browning A-Bolt 22/250 that will be sold as I have replaced it with a Model Seven CDL .223.
