beware of this feature on Browning Maxus

I have had several Maxus shotguns... I like the magazine cut-off... I often hunt small beaver runs for teal and woodies with light 2 3/4" #5 loads, but occasionally large blacks or Canadas fly in... the cut-off lets me get on them quicker... you just have to learn to use and get comfortable with your gun.
 
What i wonder is what are you dragging your gun on that causes the mag cutoff to trip? I use my maxus for everything from dry field layout blinds to brush clogged sloughs from coyotes to crows and have never had the mag cutoff trip unexpectedly. Maybe you should be more mindfull of what your gun is catching on.
