My point exactly another member of the Merry men. Smart @$$.

I found it funny... given the whole history with John over the years, the comments, the deceit, and eventually the extinction of the company on this forum. There was a time you couldn't even mention their name on here without the mods making a huge deal over nothing...

But.... you wouldn't recall that... given your join date and all... still amazed that somebody with as many posts as yourself isn't as up to date on it.... perhaps you should listen more than you talk?

Thank you to all who jumped into this thread with their experiences.

I understand as well as anyone that there will always be some people who won't trust Marstar based on our name. Every business has its uphill battles, and this challenge is something we're using to drive our improvement. We'll continue to do our best to provide top notch customer service to all our clients, we don't take you for granted, and we want to leave a lasting impression on every interaction.

You guys are great and we appreciate the support.

I have dealt with Marstar before and had more good than bad experiences. However, taking over their business while keeping the tarnished brand name, doesn't seem to be a well thought through decision.

The alternative was changing the name and that felt too much like hiding to us. We'd rather be upfront about who we are, where we've been, and overcome any stigma by improving the operation of the business. Its a harder road for sure, but one that's worth the effort.

I’ve gotten a couple odds and ends over the years.

Really like my m1897 riot shotgun and Leapers 4x T-Dot sight.
The T-Dot currently resides on my T97 flat-top.
May need to get an unmagnified one once I decide on a NR PCC.

Someone people will never accept and buy from Marstar again. Their name will always be tarnished, no matter who owns it. Accept that, like accepting not many like the NFA.

Maybe they enjoy wearing thongs?

Some people do carry a grudge 'till their grave.

But most have short memories. Look no further than our elections.

Continue to service your customers well and worry only about what you can control. You'll do grand.

(Maybe stay away from Garands).

All the best in 2020.

After all the John insults, superiority, lack of courtesy, customer support, or manners. The new owners have a uphill battle.

Then there are.the people who he sold bubba'd, garands. I completely understand backlash to a company that sold a product that could have maimed or killed.

Perhaps the OP is related?

I'll chime in on my experience with marstar, about 8 months ago I emailed Marstar asking about there inventory on a particular accessory on Saturday morning and received a reply a few hours later. I was blown away with there willingness to reply to an email on there day off. Needless to say I ordered what I was asking for from them.
