Does anyone know of a Canadian source for custom thin grips for my Browning Hi-Power?

I am looking for either the Spegel or Navidrex thin checkered grips, or even some Simonich Gunner grips or possibly Alumagrips. I am not really interested in anything made by Pachmayr, Hogue or the factory.

Thanks in advance.

+1 to Rob

ChristineS is awesome.

For those not wanting the Gunner type grip -- My second fav is Spegel grips

Also Unlce Mikes makes a steel inlet rubber version of the Spegel grip for a heck of a lot less --

Thanks for the replies guys.

I had a pair of the Uncle Mike's rubber "Spegels" and loved them. They are just thin enough to feel perfect and grippy enough to allow for excellent purchase on the gun. Unfortunately, I sold them with the BHP they were on a few years ago, and they have been discontinued so I can't buy another set.

How do the Gunner grips compare in feel to the Spegels? Are the Gunners much thicker?

I have the Navidrex thin micarta on both of my Brownings and can't see myself using anything else unless something dramatically different happens along - I'm not holding my breath...

I got mine from Brownell's. Shoot me a PM, I deal with them all the time (like a couple times a month...)

Spegal grips

I have a pair of Spegal grips on my BHP. I ordered them direct from Novak's and they were excellent to deal with. I see that Novak's is now making replacement "drop in" front sights for the MK III pistols as well.

I may try the Navidrex at some point for comparison.
